Rockethouse music is noisy, dynamic and ominous, but not without hope. Made up of Wade Settle (singer/songerwriter), bassist Gerry Rustic, their cohesive sound blends electronics, samples, pulsating rhythms, and a wall of guitar noise. They're what you might get if you mashed up BRMC with the beats of Public Enemy, while noticeable influences include the Jesus and Mary Chain and "Exterminator-era" Primal Scream. In June 2004, the band worked with producer Bill Racine (Flaming Lips, Longwave, Phantom Planet) and recorded their first full-length album, titled Weapons of Mass Distortion. Rockethouse is currently recording their sophmore album. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
