Rok Mašina

Rok Mašina (The Rock Machine) was a Heavy Rock band formed in Belgrade, Serbia (ex-Yugoslavia) in 1980 by former Pop Mašina members Robert Nemeček (vocals and bass guitar) and brothers Zoran and Vidoja Božinović (guitars). When Vladan Dokić (drums), former member of the band "Pop Show Band" joined the band, the line up was completed.. Ater the release of their first single, Vatra / Bilo mi je bolje, the band had its first live performance in 1981 in Zagreb, Croatia, as a part of the event named “Pozdrav iz Beograda” (“Greetings from Belgrade”). Soon afterwards the band released their self-titled debut album Rok Mašina. Later that year, Dragan Đorđević, former member of Generacija 5, replaced Dokić on drums, but at the time of New Wave expansion, the future for the band was not very promising, and the band disbanded in 1982 while recording their second studio album.
