We self-released an album an video, and the video got the attention of Polydor records here in the UK. At the time, we had some offers from indie labels, but we ignored them, because we were so in awe of Polydor. The head of A&R there at the time was Rick Lennox, he discovered Daisy Chainsaw, and Skunk Anansie. Anyway, Polydor advised us to fire our bass player, and put us in the studio with a bunch of songwriters we didn't like. Then they *still* complained that the stuff we came up with wasn't commercial enough. In the meantime, we were gigging with our new stuff, and new band members....and all of our old fan base HATED it. So we split under the pressure. Rick Lennox got fired from Polydor after that, haha!
