Scott Dolph is the translator of multiple Konami video games, most notably from Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid series. Kojima named a Marine commandant after Dolph in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. In addition, he also provided some voice acting for Metal Gear Solid and Sons of Liberty, but only in the English versions. Alongside being fluent in English and Japanese, he is also Kojima's bodyguard and his interpreter during interviews because Hideo Kojima is not fluent in English. Additionally, Dolph did translation work for Konami's Dance Dance Revolution, whose wildly successful export to the United States from Japan can be attributed, at least in some part, to his suggestions. Most of his songs were featured in a home version of the game. He also performed on at least four original tracks - "Drop the Bomb", its remix with System SF, "Flow", and its remix which is the first time that his song is first featured in the arcade) for the game series as rapper, Scotty D [1]. He wrote the lyrics and rapped on "Drop the Bomb". Additionally, Dolph provided vocals for the song "Stick Around" in Beatmania IIDX CS 6th Style with Megu [2]. Dolph also worked on Zone of the Enders: The Fist of Mars for the Game Boy Advance. Most recently he was featured prominently on Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA, providing samples for some songs and being the Battle Mode announcer as well as having a new song, "Flow", featured in the game.
