Formed in 1998 from the ashes of local favorites E.C.P. (East Coast Psychos)the group Seven Hill Psychos, named duly so to reflect it's love and pride for their hometown of Worcester, MA. was born. Coinciding with the departure of E.C.P. originator Pete Dinardi, the band decided to seek out a rhythm section to round out a more aggressive sound that they had begun to develop. Prior to this, the group(E.C.P.) were a 3 piece consisting of only a vocalist, guitarist/w/backing vocals, and a DJ, with all basslines and extra effects being provided via tracking for live shows. The initial idea was to take the heavy sounds of Metal/Industrial and blend them with the urban sounds and mentality of Rap and Hip Hop. Though 7HP had several lineup incarnations, the group always maintained it's focus and delivered high octane live shows to enthusiastic crowds! Locally, the band establislished a very good following in not only the 21 and over venues but also having a devout following on the all age circuit as well. Read more on Last.fm.
