Share started as one young man and his songs. Andrew Sisk began to record the first Share album, Ukulele Tragic, with his friend and bandmate of Sleepless Nights, A.A. Wallace in 2005. A limited pressing of the album and limited shows were played. Sisk's yearning to explore new sounds and songs lead to the immediate recording of the sophomore album, CanCan Missile(2006). The songs were extracted from home demos Sisk had recorded using a sampler, a 4 track, and a delay pedal. In a bedroom in Halifax, Wallace and Sisk forged CanCan Missile as an Experimental document of a near death experience. Another limited pressing and Canadian solo tour lead to the forming of a band and another incarnation of Share. Kyle Cunjak (Upright Bass) and Nick Cobham (Classical Guitar) joined Share in 2007 and the third album, Pedestrian, was recorded in a 5 day period in a shed in Halifax. With A.A. Wallace in the producer's chair again, the trio created a middle ground between the two previous Share Albums. Shortly after the album's release, drummer Zach Atkinson and Multi-instrumentalist Dennis Goodwin, joined the band. The Fourth Share album, Slumping in your Murals, was released on August 4th 2009. It was produced by Daniel Ledwell and features guest appearances by Mike Feuerstack (Snailhouse), Kinley Dowling, and Jenn Grant. Read more on Last.fm.
