The universe works in mysterious ways, and these two complete opposites were attracted to each other by forces they still can’t identify. SHOOPS, a duo based in Montreal, could be described as blending frequencies from both ends of the scale (Love/Lust). Take John Mayer, Kanye West, Crystal Castles, and all the other hit makers and put them all in one blender, you will result with the best mixed juice in town. Currently working hard at finalizing their debut album entitled “Love/Lust”, Yury and Dave have been living pretty much in their studio these days. A few collaborations are in view, including Quebec’s own Mic Life (famous for his hits “Putes” and “Bon Gars”) among others. Their first release blends all kinds of different genres together, breaking all kinds of barriers around the music industry today. With a low-key promotional club-tour on its way, SHOOPS will definitely be picking up good buzz around their craft. Read more on Last.fm.
