Sideway Look Sideway Look were a Scottish new-wave band from the 1980's. The line up was as follows: Colin Thom - Guitar, Harmonica, Keyboards, Vocals Brian Smith - Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards John Baird - Bass, Keyboards, Vocals Johnny O Neill - Keyboards Iain Hardie - Drums, Percussion (Taken from cover of the second album) Discography Their first eponymous first album was recorded in 1984 in Germany for Virgin Records. It was produced by Ian Taylor. The album produced three singles "Knowing You From Today" and "Tell Me Tonight", both released in 1984 and "Til the Bitter End", released in 1985. In 1987, the band released "Hungy Waters" with Karen Rix in the UK. The second album "Taming The Blade" was recorded in 1988 again in Germany but for Blue Flamingo Records. The bands singles often appear on 80's compilations and mixes, almost exclusively in Germany. Read more on Last.fm.
