Sir Shree was formed in Hamburg by Steve Pepper (Sitar and Guitar) in 2002. Since then the band have steadily built a reputation among fans of Fusion, Electronic and Asian music. History of Sir Shree After seeing one of Steve's Sitar performancess at the Mojo Club, producer Nesto (founder of the The Reel Banditos) hooked up with Steve and they started writing material together. In spring 2003 drummer and percussionist Stephan Krause (a member of the quintet ElbtonalPercussion) joined and together they recorded the song Elephant's Trunk featured on the Mojo Club compilation CD Mojo 11 (Right Now).
