Snowfight in the City Centre were an indie-pop band from Manchester, England, who were inspired by bands ranging from Sigur Ros to David Bowie and New Order. Formed in 2004, Adam Jennings (lead vocal), Andy Jennings (drums), Rick Boardman (keyboards, vocals and percussion), Matt Cocksedge (guitar), James Cook (guitar, keyboardss and vocals) and Lewis O'Brien (bass) were initially named Lisa Brown. They changed the moniker in 2006 after audiences were dismayed at not seeing a female singer. The band announced on the 10th May 2007 that they have decided to go their separate ways. James Cook, Matt Cocksedge and Richard Boardman went on to form Delphic. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
