Solar Captive

Solar Captive is a Cardiff based act, created in early 2005, driven by producers Matt Harris and Simon Tucker . Matt and Simon harboured the vocal talents of Lacey Chaife, David Verso and Nickie Charles (all based in Cardiff, UK) to create the 'PatchWork' album, released in 2006. The duo are currently working on there next album, due to be released in Autumn 2007. After working under the moniker Junoman in 1999 to 2004 (under Fast Moving Records UK and licensed to DigiDance, Netherlands) as a hard-house and trance producer, Matt Harris teamed up with friend and songwriter Simon Tucker in 2005 to form Solar Captive, a Cardiff based Alternative Down-tempo act. Spanning and blending musical styles such as lounge, alternative and electronica, and creating both vocal and instrumental driven tracks, the duo have created a truly listenable yet refreshing sound, comparable with major acts such as Air, Zero 7, Morcheeba and Afterlife.
