Drew Daniel - Bass - Vocals - Samples Phil Gleghorn - Guitar - Backing Vocals Micah Davis- Drums These three guys from the small Tennessee town of Fayetteville started a high school (cover) rock band way back in 2003 called The Weakend. College rolled around, and The Weakend was no more ( with drew still being in high school). Phil later moved to Murfreesboro to attend MTSU for sound recording and production about the same time Drew was getting up to Knoxville. Drew and Micah, along with their (still) great friends Ian Goodman and Dakota Smith formed Sounds of Sirens in the summer of 2009 in hopes of entering the Knoxville battle of the bands competition, Sound Off. Sounds of Sirens didn't win but they hoped to have made an impression on the local scene. After Sound Off, hungry to make more music, Sounds of Sirens added Patrick Tice (now playing for Johnny Astro and The Big Bang) and recorded their first EP Classic Static. From this EP the song Alone Tonight was featured on the June 2011 birp.fm indie rock playlist, and also the Juice Springs Juicy 10 for July 2011 as well as the Juice Springs Indie Rock Playlist Best of 2011. After college, Sounds of Sirens was put on hiatus until Drew and Micah found themselves back in Fayetteville where Phil just so happened to have a fender jazzmaster, a super six, a great house for rehearsals, and a recording setup. With the current linup they've played in Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, and Knoxville and had their newest song Mission Statement featured on the Jimdo indie rock playlist. They are diligently working to record their yet-to-be-named debut full length album, and to organize a tour of the region. Read more on Last.fm.
