Springwater was a name used by the British musician Phil Cordell (July 17, 1947 - March 31, 2007). "I Will Return" was a instrumental 'One-Hit-Wonder' song released in 1971. The song was best known in West-Europe, particularly in Switzerland where it reached the 1st place in the charts, in the United Kingdom it peaked on the 5th place on 23 October 1971 and stayed for 12 weeks on the charts. In the Netherlands it peaked at the 3rd place and stayed on the charts for 10 weeks.
