Stern*

STERN* started out in 1998 as a dj under the name Julastic. He was part of the Parisian nightlife in 2001 in such clubs as Café Chéri(e) where Akufen, Dj Mini and Missill also played. August 2004, he comes to Montréal and starts a band called Karmasoma with jazz musicians from Université de Montréal, has his first Homéostazie night at the SAT and performs a three turntable mixwith friend dj Phuz under the name of the Panameans. In 2005, he leaves Karmasoma to start GLOOMY, an intrumental electro band. In 2006, he produces a Techno-Opéra with l’atelier lyrique des chanteur de l’opéra de Montréal, plays at the Festival du nouveau Cinéma and also at the Nujaz festival with Diplo and aRTIST oF tHE yEAR. Early summer 2007, starts work on his first album Difunkstruction slated for reales in 2008 on iTunes, Beatport, Napster and other digital music outlets.
