StormQueen (correct spelling) was a Welsh NWOBHM act. They were fairly early on the scene - releasing their first demo, the groundbreaking "Battle of Britain" in 1980. StormQueen continued to release their own demos: "Come Silent the World" in 1982, followed by two more offerings in '82 and '84 respectively. After a long hiatus and the resurgence in popularity of metal and NWOBHM, the band got back together in the studio in 2006 to record tracks for their best of/compilation "Come Silent the World: A Definitive Anthology and Biography" in 2006, showcasing all of their recorded material from the '80s. (NB: Sadly due to time restrictions the new recordings didn't make it on to the OPM release.) This collection is available on OPM Records.
