Canadian-based Strict Border (Amirali Shahrestani and Iman Habibi) were drawn together by their shared passion and love for electronic music. The pair dived to the forefront of dance music in February 2009. The duo has achieved extensive recognition in fewer than three months since they joined forces in Tehran. Since then, the newly formed duo has spent time producing and remixing tracks signed by some of the most influential and respected Record Labels around the globe such as, Noir Music, Kling Klong, Plastic City, Starter Records, Rawthentic Music,Troll Records, Railyard Recordings and so on. It was the groove of ‘Zebra Crossing’ and ‘The Queen’ that drew praise from the like of Steve Lawler. Other supports in the business include artists such as Christian Smith, Nicole Moudaber, Mathias Kaden, Carl Cox, Martin Eyerer, Jim Rivers, Nick Warren, DJ Yellow, Noir, Alexi Delano, Ahmet Sendil and Carlo Lio. Through it all, in April 2009 Strict Border was signed as an ‘Exclusive’ duo to Steve Lawler’s label VIVa MUSIC and has their first big release due out in the summer of 2009. Read more on Last.fm.
