THP Orchestra was a Eurodisco project based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Created and led by producers Ian Guenther and Willi Morrison, they created sleek, glossy, slick Eurodisco that was similar to productions issued by mainland European producers at the time. While the U.S. mainstream ignored all of the THP albums, they all became popular and successful in the U.S. Dance music market. THP Orchestra released three albums, "Too Hot For Love" (1977), "Tender Is The Night" (1978) and "Good To Me" (1979). By their third album, they were known simply as THP. However, with the decline of Disco's original sound by 1980 and failure to crossover to mainstream markets, they called it quits. THP's music can still be heard most places that play Eurodisco.
