Take A Worm For A Walk Week is a four-piece band from Glasgow Scotland. Starting out in 2005 as a visceral hardcore band, they have evolved over time into what is best described as “experimental progressive punk rock.” They have toured countless times around the U.K. and have released two albums: Take a Worm For a Walk Week (Midmarch Records) and The Monroe Transfer (Undergroove Records.) and two EPs: 7" Split with Desalvo (Dizzy Storm Records/Midmarch Records) and a split with Orion Arm and With Scissors (Smalltown Records.) All are UK based labels. Through the aid of the Scottish Arts Council and numerous local shows, Take A Worm For A Walk Week have recently recorded their most ambitious album to date. Spanning influences from seventies prog rock to modern alternative music, TAWFAWW’s sound has metamorphosed from the relentless brutality of their first album to a much more experimental and innovative piece of work. http://www.myspace.com/takeaworm Read more on Last.fm.
