Teddy is a DJ and producer, who also goes by the name Silencer. The genres he covers are grime, hip-hop and RnB. Silencer is also the DJ and producer for the group Underground Unit. Teddy began to DJ at the tender age of 14. As a youngster he visited many of the local youth clubs such as Community Links, Little Ilford, YAP, New Canteen and Windsor Park Estate Youth club. Teddy began to produce when he was 17 which led to his fanbase widening and which also catapulted him to a slot on London's leading pirate radio show Rinse FM. His show is available to listen to at www.rinse.fm and on 100.4 every Monday from 5-7pm. Teddy also produced several beats for his group Underground Unit which led to success in the Channel U Urban chart show. The tune ‘Poison’ positioned 5th and ‘Dresscode’ 4th in the charts. He is mostly known for his 'World War 4' beat which shot him straight into the limelight, you can get this beat if you purchase Wow Bass Level 1, which is in stores now. Teddy has played alongside the likes of DJ Spyro and DJ Vectra (both succesful Rinse DJ's themselves) as well as DJ Flippy Smalls, an ex member of infamous grime crew “Boyz In Da Hood” as well as many more more.
