The Act of Estimating As Worthless began in the summer of 2009 in Croton on Hudson, NY, when Matt & Zoe decided to write some songs. With influences like A Weather, Mirah, Laura Stevenson and the Cans, and Volume Pedals they have been quoted to sound like "riding your bike on a fall day or making an awesome fort and sitting in it with all the lights off." They put out one EP titled How Bright They Shine which can be downloaded for free at http://www.gimmesound.com/theactofestimatingasworthless/ and one demo which can also be downloaded for free at http://theactofestimatingasworthless.bandcamp.com/. They are currently working on putting out a 12 song cassette. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
