The Buttertones are a five-piece surf rock act hailing from Los Angeles, California since 2011. Its members include Richard Araiza, Sean Redman, Modesto Cobian, London Guzman, and Dakota Boettcher, the first three originally starting out as "music school misfits". Their debut self-titled album Buttertones was released in 2013, followed by For the Head and For the Feet and American Brunch.
