Based in Austin, Texas USA, the Daylight Titans play what they describe as "post-punk power pop". The Daylight Titans most recent release, Boom and Chime, was issued in January 2009 and is available for digital download through iTunes and other services and for CD purchase worldwide through CD Baby, Not Lame Recordings, and Kool Kat Musik. Their self-titled debut record was released in fall 2005. The song "Dangle" was used in the television show "Veronica Mars." The band's is currently working on its third record with release projected for January 2011. The Daylight Titans first emerged in 2002, led by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Andy Smith. He is currently the lone founding member, though the band's current lineup has been in place since mid-2008. In the ensuing years, the band has received numerous local, national and even international press and blog accolades, many of which can be read on our EPK.
