The Gestures is a 60's garage rock'n'roll band from Mankato, MN. Originally known as The Jesters, they rather suddenly changed their name in The Gestures. They played together just for one year. In the October 1964 the Minneapolis based label Soma released The Gestures' first and only hit single: "Run Run Run", written by Dale Menten. Later "Run Run Run" was released on Nuggets compilation. The song hit the Billboard's top 50. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
