"The Heardsmen" may refer to one of the fictional bands on the soundtrack to the 1996 Tom Hanks movie That Thing You Do, contributing a track called "She Knows It." The movie included examples of various strains of popular music from the early 1960s, songs mostly co-written by Hanks and played by top-tier studio musicians. The Heardsmen are also a Bath based band who play a mixture of originals and covers in and around the Bath area. Featuring Mark Claydon (Guitar + Vocals), Susie Holden-White (Vocals), Ed Lewis (Bass), James Potter (Keyboards + Vocals) and Ben Tilley (Drums), the band name influences from Fleetwood Mac to the Killers.
