The Nods are a NYC garage rock/ska band that was the precursor to the popular ska/rocksteady sensation, The Slackers, and contained many of its original lineup. Many of The Nods tracks were contained on The Slackers demo and were later released on Special Potato records as a collection in 1999. Some songs from The Nods were reinvented on later albums of The Slackers such as "You Don't Know I". Read more on Last.fm.
