The Stabilisers are a high energy punk/garage rock four-piece, formed in 2002, and based in London. The line-up from August 2009 to the present is : Jon Bott (bass, lead vocals) Istvanski (guitar, vocals) Simon Corbey (guitar, keyboards, vocals) Francis Braithwaite (drums, vocals) Allan Crockford played guitar with the band from 2003 - Easter 2009. He is now working on his own project 'The Galileo Seven' The original line-up, from 2002-2003 was a trio of Bott/Corbey/Braithwaite. These 3 members played together previously in an unsigned band called 'Sump'. The Stabilisers have released tracks with 4 different record labels: 1) Nicotine Records. A 7" limited edition 4 track EP called Evil Picnic - available on vinyl only. 2) Skipping Musez. The first album 'Last Chance Saloon' on CD 3) Acid Jazz. The 7" vinyl single 'Do The Brane' and the 2nd album 'Wanna Do The Wild Plastic Brane Love Thing' 4) Wicked Cool Records. The American release of 'Wanna Do The Wild Plastic Brane Love Thing' which is a totally different album to the Acid Jazz release and contains tracks not released previously. Read more on Last.fm.
