The Sunny Street can be described as a jangly indie pop affair whose melancholy tunes pay a passing nod to the likes of The Field Mice and The Trembling Blue Stars. Hailing from London, United Kingdom, The Sunny Street formed as a collaboration between Electrophonvintage frontman Remi Parson and vocalist Delphine, along with Christos and Ian Moonlight who make up 4/5ths of Electrophonvintage. Forming in 2006, the duo released a handful of singles on various labels, including They Hurt You Everyday + Rainy Hearts EP, which was released on the Swedish label Lavender Records, a split 7" released via the Slumberland label, the flip side of the disc features A Sunny Day in Glasgow, and a self-titled single released on Cloudberry Records.
