The Blueskins were a four-piece band based in Gawthorpe, a West Yorkshire mining village near Wakefield, United Kingdom. The lads - vocalist and guitarist Ryan Spendlove, guitarist Andrei Nosov, bassist Tom Bailey, and percussionist Paul Brown - bring together blues, soul, folk, reggae and rock to create a sound which is youthful and sharp, but also organic and colourful. Their single Change My Mind became a massive club hit following its inclusion on the 2006 Lynx Boost shower gel advertisement, in which a man goes to a nightclub in just a towel. Further information about the Blueskins is available from the official Blueskins website or the The Blueskins MySpace. They broke up in 2008. Read more on Last.fm.
