Late '93 the maniacs Martin Reinhagen and Mattias Bengtsson recorded the 7" "Specismen Sex Fiends". A few months later a complete line-up was announced and the swedish underground label Primitive Art Records signed the Mobile Mob Freakshow for a fullength album. Early 1995 the now legendary debut goth / punk / rock'n'roll album "Horror Freakshow" hit the streets. The album was very well reviewed in magazines like Maximum Rock 'n'Roll, Flipside and Kerrang, as well as in the swedish media. Kerrang wrote "The Mobile Mob Freakshow are obsessed with blood, guts, sex, psycos and creepy crawlies. They are about as PC as the fucking Criminal justice Bill and will upset just as many people! Cool!!". In 1996 "The Raving Dead E.P" was released. Due to the bands "Hard Day's Nightmare" their original drummer Dennis Jernberg left and after testing a number of drummers the band decided to work with Brorsson the Insect, former of Flegma and Driller Killer. With a new drummer and with the E.P in in the back the Mob finally started touring. Live the Freaks are loud, rude and sick and the audience loves it. Satan's favourite travelling circus then signed with swedish label Noxious Records in March 1997 and The Mobile Mob Freakshow celebrated their 100-grand advance by trashing up the Hultsfred festival backstage area. In the summer of 1997 the band entered the Roastinghouse Studios and together with "Theo" Thenander they produced their second album, simply entitled "Deathtrip 2000". The album is a start-to-finish winner, an explosion of punk / goth / rock 'n' roll with lyrics inspired by cult movies, agony, ecstasy and junk culture in general. Hits like "Deathtrip (Japanese electric voodoo)", "Chaos and Byond" and "Spider Baby" will set mark for this upcoming attraction. Read more on Last.fm.
