A "punk with horns" band from Norman, Oklahoma that started off in 2002 as more of a third-wave ska punk band, but after listening to way too much Smoke or Fire, Hot Water Music, Latterman and Strike Anywhere, naturally and over time dropped the reggae riffs in exchange for faster, more hard hitting songs about everything from government conspiracies to Masons to crappy friends, without the heavy pop-ska influences from earlier times. May of 2006 saw the release of the band's debut EP on Medic Records "Secrets Don't Make Friends, But They Can Run the World" recorded and produced by Stephen Egerton of Descendents/ALL, the EP showcases the band's progression into their new sound. The band has slowed down somewhat in 2007. The band is still somewhat active, and while they have regained some old members recently, the frequent touring and recording they have done the past five years seems to have come to and end, as the band will more than likely now play mostly local shows, few and far between. New material is possible, but will take much longer than previous years. Matt and Richard have since started a new band called Over Stars and Gutters, who can be listened to at myspace.com/overstarsandgutters Read more on Last.fm.
