Thorn Apple is a musical collective originally conceived by Shawn Brice (Bloodwire/Battery) that began with members of Bloodwire, Battery and Hungry Lucy and eventually expanded to other artists spread across the US (Halou, Axoe, Curium). A highly collaborative project that produced an album each year in December between the years of 2000-2003. These albums were never widely released but produced as gifts for family and friends of the participants: "Stirring The Embers" (2000), "Crystalline" (2001), "Gradient" (2002), "Datura" (2003). In 2005, a CD-R compilation called Olio was also given out, featuring songs from "Crystalline", "Gradient" and "Datura". Read more on Last.fm.
