Throw Television is an indie-pop-rock group from Brussels, Belgium that formed in February 2008. Throw Television create a sound that has been described as “highly melodic, upbeat indie tunes that would fit right in at any summer bonding experience.” The quartet, being from various backgrounds, play indie music that brings together their musical differences in a harmonious manner creating the sound which so defines Throw Television. Phaser guitars, catchy melodies and an upbeat rhythm section contribute in making their music one of a kind and hard to forget. They have been described as “a refreshing change from mainstream rock” and as having “huge potential to become a big hit in the indie-rock scene.” Having some minor internet success with the song ‘F Is For Freak Out’, Throw Television recorded and self-released an EP, entitled ‘Harpoons, Moons & Air Balloons’ in the Autumn of 2010 which has received very positive feedback.
