Tin Can Phone is an explosive four-piece alternative reggae band that fuses the energy and drive of reggae with effects-heavy vocals and melodic guitars. Live, the combination of rock solid rhythms, catchy vocal hooks, and blistering guitar battles attract and excite a consistently growing fan base, spreading positivity and knowledge through unique messages on an array of topics ranging from politics, to destiny, to run-ins with the law. 2. Tin Can Phone was a lo-fi folk duo from Hazel Park Michigan. The group consisted of two weirdo solo artists: Jason Edgil of Forest Porridge, and Shaun Wisniewski of Matilda. They started making music together around 2003 when they were both dating sisters. The boys released one home made record called "Long Distance" in 2004 and played a few shows around that time.
