To Destination

To Destination is a rather obscure J-Rock band. They were formed by Guitarist Kenji and Vocalist DAI. The exact date of their formation is currently unknown, but their fist release was in 2000. They are well-known only for one of their songs "EDEN" the opening theme to the anime, 闇の末裔(Yami no Matsuei)(a.k.a. "Descendants of darkness" in the English dubbed version), Contrary to popular belief their single "EDEN" is not their only release on the KING RECORDS label; however, their song "EDEN" is the only one that KINGS RECORDS released, but they released it on four different cds: 闇の末裔サウンドファイル 緋色の月, EDEN/LOVE ME, 闇の末裔オリジナルサウンドファイルII 紫水晶の瞳, and EDEN. This means they have four releases on KING RECORDS not just one. Aside from the EDEN single, TO DESTINATION had released their first single, -Ac・tivi・ty-, and wrote three songs for three other omnibus albums. In 2002, they went on hiatus. In 2006 DAI and Kenji restarted the band once again. As of July 2009, TO DESTINATION began releasing new material with their new bassist, SHO. They also released two more omnibus songs on CONNECTION OF THE BLOOD vol.1 and CONNECTION OF THE BLOOD vol.2. On 2014/12/29 SHO left the band. SHO was replaced by bassist 夜紫.
