Tom "T-Bone" Newton (born Thomas Lee Newton) was born on 9th Aug 1989, in Cleethorpes,England second son to proud parents Marilyn Fletcher and Graham Newton, seen to be musically gifted even as a foetus much to the amazement of his mother and those surrounding her he was clearly tapping out the rhythm to some of the chart topping tunes of the time in the womb. Soon after his birth at only a couple days of age Tom fist came across an old banjo of his grandfathers and instantly began to fiddle with the strings with a amazement, it is fair to say he soon became a very capable banjo player. By the age of 1 Tom had also taken his hand at singing and Jazz music often jamming with artists 40 times his age. The child prodigy soon began to attract alot of attention in the global music scene and not wanting to get mixed up in what nasties the music scene had to offer he took the decision at the 2 to give up music. The years following were hard times for Tom, he found himself depressed and felt he had no direction, but still decided not to pursue his musical talents further.Instead he would try and fill his spare time with many other activities, but was never a happy child. It wasn't until many years later he decided it was time to get back into music again, at the age of 17 he joined a Reggae band " The Rudeboys" which had success in Jamaica. But soon Tom found himself in the situation that led him to give up music many years before, his band members began smoking cannabis heavily and often were too off their head on pot to practice. This left Tom frustrated and he decided to leave the band and pursue a new musical direction all together embarking on a free-spirited solo career, and to this day he has never looked back.
