Undeterred by the conventions of society, she packed her things one day and moved to New York City. The rest, as they say, is history. Her upcoming 2011 video release “Promise,” will provide inspirational focus on the current tragedies unfolding in her homeland, Japan as the tribute song to Japan, and the sales proceeds will be donated to Red Cross and Japan Society.
