Tony C. and the Truth is an underground Upstate NY band. They play a mix of hip hop music, punk rock, heavy metal and boogie rock. Their debut album, Demonophonic Blues, was well received by critics overall. Standout tracks include a cover of the Beastie Boys hit Fight for Your Right (To Party) and the single, Little Bit More which gained some airtime on some radio stations, despite its drug and sex related content. They were featured at the 26th annual DC101 Chili Cook Off, where they were the crowd favorite, thanks to an enthralling stage show and single Little Bit More having popular airplay on the DC101 station. Their fans anxiously await a follow up to "Demonophonic Blues". While the band has stated that new material is in the works, their main website has been taken down and their 'myspace' site has not been updated by band members since August 2006, leaving fans to wonder if "Tony C and the Truth" are to ever fulfill their immense promise.
