The history behind TracknField dates back to early days of electronic music in Finland. Both of the members of TracknField, Roberto Rodriguez and Jukka Kaartinen are veterans of the scene when it comes to electronic music and all its forms. Initially inspired by hiphop and rare groove, they got united in the 90s to start production as a team, while before they both had already been gaining experience in their own early projects. Today, infusing sounds from jazz, soul, acid house, broken beat and electro, they have created the most diverse sound establishment coming out of Finland. Their sound really does reflect all the years they have experience of music, infusing all the decades together and creating the perfect blend for the dancefloor just as well for the more discerning ear. Their first release on nine2five came under the name of Robbyn Rhodes as after that 12" they were signed to Stereo Deluxe Germany. Now they are back with nine2five under their revised name TracknField, but the sound stays the same. And already their list of releases and remixes is impressing even before their debut album! TracknField is also good to experience live as they play with additional musicians and invite friends to give the show some spice. Just as well as their dj background is giving them means to smash out great tracks and remixes made exclusive for the dj in mind. TracknField are looking good on the dancefloor as well as on your home stereo. Expect a string of great 12"'s and a smashing album from the connoiseurs of sound!. Read more on Last.fm.
