Unquiet Nights are a Rock & Roll band from Belfast, Northern Ireland, whose combination of "British Invasion, Americana and Detroit Soul" is evident on their first album, 21st Century Redemption Songs. They're best known for singles like We Were The Ones, Burning The Tracks, Shoulda Said Something, which helped raise the band's profile on national radio stations like Absolute Radio, Amazing Radio, BBC Radio 1 and RTÉ 2fm. Starting out as the moniker under which guitarist/singer Luke Mathers had been releasing songs on the internet since 2005, Unquiet Nights became a full band when long-time collaborator Rodger Firmin was recruited on drums. Recording on debut album 21st Century Redemption Songs started in summer 2010, with the later addition of bassist and former Snow Patrol touring member John Rossi. In promoting 21st Century Redemption Songs the band supported acts like Bloc Party (Scala London), Toploader (Kasbah) as well as headline shows in their native Belfast. Read more on Last.fm.
