Veara is a pop punk 4-piece from Augusta, GA since December 2003. The band now consists of Bradley Wyrosdick as lead vocals (replacing Ian Reese), and continues to have Patrick Bambrick as Vocals/Guitar, Bryan Kerr on Bass/Vocals, and Brittany Harrell on Drums. Veara was named Finalist and Regional Winner for the Bamboozle Break Left contest through Absolutepunk.net. They self-released a 3 song EP, and created a full length CD with Rob Freeman (Hidden In Plain View) on Wisteria Records that was released September 7, 2007. Absolutepunk.net calls Veara "a band you need to give some time and plenty of listens [to]. . ." Veara's newest contribution to the musical scene, "What We Left Behind" was co-produced by Jeremy McKinnon of A Day to Remember and Andrew Wade. "We have been through a lot of turmoil as a band," says drummer Brittany Harrell. "Whether it be people doubting us, saying you can't do this, members quitting, people lying, etc. The songs on this record have to do with everything that we were going through within that year. It pretty much means all those topics are being left behind because we can do this and we will do this no matter what." "It's not just for us though," adds vocalist Bradley Wyrosdick. "It's for everyone that has a dream and has people telling them they can't do what they want to do with their life. It's your life and you can accomplish whatever you put your mind to, and that's what we did with What We Left Behind." As of 2010, Veara has appeared on tour with A Day to Remember, August Burns Red, Silverstein, Enter Shikari, and Go Radio. Veara has also played with bands such as The Maine, DangerRadio, and Powerspace. They are set up for a Fall Tour in 2010 with Rufio, Before Their Eyes, and Close to Home. http://www.last.fm/label/running+man+records http://www.runningman.com http://www.myspace.com/veara http://www.purevolume.com/veara http://www.twitter.com/Veara http://www.vearaband.com http://www.facebook.com/vearaband Read more on Last.fm.
