Viernes is the experimental/drone/shoegaze/ambient project of duo Alberto Hernandez and Sean Moore from Winter Park, Florida. Their debut album Sinister Devices was released in 2010 on Brooklyn indie label Kanine Records. The album was well received overall with very positive reviews and press from publications such as Pitchfork (who gave the debut a solid 7.6), Under the Radar, XLR8R, Fader, IGIF, Magnet, and many others.
