Viva Machine blend the infectious melody's of Death Cab for Cutie with the slick 3 part harmonies of Yes. These influences and the raucous live spectacle will make Jarcrew and Mclusky fans salivate out of their mourning. Viva Machine are Gareth Carter (guitar/vox), Tom Stephens (bass/vox), Chris Seacombe (lead vox/keys) and D.P. Francais (drums.) While the boys were just 16, the influential Mighty Atom label which brought us the first FFAF outing, released their CD. Realising that their musical style was worlds apart from the local scene, Viva Machine imminently took to the road with their DIY UK tours. Having shared stages with peers YCNI:Milo , ThisGirl, Shiny Toy Guns, Jetplane Landing and Aerogramme, their energetic reputation has gained them fantastic live reviews with: Kerrang! 4/5 - (Compass Point, Cardiff) RockSound 8/10 (Marquee, London) Last Autumn, the band set off on a full UK tour with chart toppers The Automatic and released their debut single 'My Jet Set Radio' (TPF records) on 18th December. Since they have been out on tour with American electro heroes Shiny Toy Guns and recorded their debut album with legendary super producer Richard Jackson. With a large tour planned for the spring and the album to be released this year the future looks anything but quiet! Read more on Last.fm.
