Whisteria Cottage has Broken up in 2011. 4 of the 5 members have gone to create a new band called " The Contagion Effect" You can check out the songs and videos at www.facebook.com/thecontagioneffect Whisteria Cottage’s debut album entitled Heathen is a perfect vessel for displaying this Baltimore based band’s versatility and talent. Heathen fuses aggressive lyrics with brutal, yet melodic death metal and brings a dark, new heaviness to the metal scene. In creating music that displays their amazing song writing ability, this crushing album demonstrates Whisteria Cottage’s vast talent to blend many different styles of music into a single, unique sound that is all their own. The January 27th release of Heathen will be sure to render fans speechless and have them begging for more. We just have completed another tour for 2009 with And Hell followed and Hester Prynne.
