Three bands exist under this name: 1. White Whale is an American indie rock band based in Lawrence, Kansas featuring members from Kansas City, Missouri, and other areas of the American West North Central States as well as Visalia, California. Members include Matt Suggs (formerly of Butterglory), Rob Pope (formerly of The Get Up Kids), and John Anderson, Zach Holland and Dustin Kinsey (formerly of Thee Higher Burning Fire). The band released an album called WW1 on Merge Records on July 25th, 2006. 2. A Norwegian folk-rock duo based in Oslo. Released their debut EP "Tracks" on March 4th 2018. 3.
