Jonathan Cox a.k.a. X the Akeshian (born 1990) always loved music. his family brought this about because of their natural gifts. during childhood Jonathan tried to play physical instruments such as the snare and the piano, but to no end. in 2000 Jonathan discovered how to electronically compose music. by 2009, he had started piecing together his first album called The Phantom Saints under the name of X. the music was an experiment in genres. after the first cd, he discovered X-Ray Dog and Two Steps From Hell. inspired by them he moved on to trailer music and has slowly gotten better at composing. in 2010 Jonathan changed his artist name to the Akeshian after a character in Lance T. Castise's novel Luc. later that year he combined the two names to form X the Akeshian. he was influenced by John Williams, Howard Shore, James Horner, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Two Steps From Hell, and of course X-Ray Dog.
