YouInSeries formed as Brown Eyed Deception in 2003 with Lobeck and Smith. The following year, Lanning joined and brought forward the group's next wave of colorful ideas. Set forward in motion, the band initiated Vegas ears and helped inspire a music revolution inside their city walls. Davila's addition to the line-up further enhanced the color of the mural the group was painting. After three years, of dealing with Lobeck's overuse of the word amazing, Lanning's inability to stop overanalyzing everything, Kirkegard's pyrotechnics, Smith's work towards being the living definition of randomness, and Davila's nub of a finger, the group managed to found a whole new interpretation on music. Haven written their own musical dialect, their forthco! ming album, Outside We Are Fine, on Equal Vision Records is a representation of what really matters in life. Outside We Are Fine teaches you that emotions are timeless. YouInSeries teaches you that imperfection is beautiful. The idea behind YouInSeries is that there is point in time when one realizes he is nothing more than a random element thrown into an evolution of events. The main premise is that one must learn to embrace the present and enjoy the moment for that is the only point at which he truly exists. Because life is full of extraneous situations that affect his maginated outcomes to the plans he makes, he ultimately has no control over his own reality. Hence, his infatuation with his future and himself is irrelevant for life is full of twists. Dream and believe, but expect the unexpected. You are in a series of events. On January 24, 2008, YouInSeries announced they were breaking up. From the band's Myspace page, "Well hello everyone. Kyle here from the YouInSeries camp. I have some sad news to inform everyone about. After starting this band 5 years ago with my best friends in my garage, it seems as though YouInSeries has finally ran its course. We were in the process of writing songs for our second record when I was informed that some of us were not compelled to continue with this lifestyle anymore. It saddens me in such a way that its hard to express in words. I really wish we could have recorded our new songs for you guys to hear... That being said, I fully intend on continuing my musical passion. Over the next few weeks, months, or however long it takes, I will be searching for a new project to work on. -Kyle" Kyle Lobeck is now doing vocals for More Amor. Read more on Last.fm.
