Zelle 40

ZELLE 40 evolved from the band NIEDERSTES GEWÄNZ, who made music using metal barrels and self made sound tables. The artistic focus of this Punk-Industrial formation was the percussion on the metal exhibitions. Sir Raze founded ZELLE 40 in the year 2003. In the beginning sound collages were developed which later evolved into music which was more listenable. Requests for remixes came from bands such as THE FAIR SEX and LIGHTS OF EUPHORIA and also musicians like LACASA DEL CID. The remixes received surprisingly good reviews from the relevant music and online magazines. While working on further requests for remixes, the Zelle intensified their work on original material. In addition there were also collaborations with many artists, among others MYK JUNG (The Fair Sex / author of "Lord of the Earrings"), N.U. UNRUH, CARSTEN KLATTE and TIMOTHY MOLDREY. In the year 2005 the guitarist and keyboarder PAUL H. as well and the multi-instrumentalist TOM MIELKE, a.k.a. "Frau Mielke" joined the line-up and have been members ever since. For live shows the American philosopher in exile CHARLES ANDERSON III as well as Neubauten member N.U. UNRUH are also onboard.
