Zeroesque, project name and self-titled debut by Shawn Christie (guitar) and Tim Lehner (keyboards), is an instrumental progressive rock and fusion juggernaut featuring guest soloists such as Scott McGill and Vinnie Moore. Zeroesque, first conceived just a few short years ago, is just now coming into its own. A project way too long in the making, their approach is quite simple: create killer instrumental progressive fusion tracks that groove, rock, and all but tear your left ear through your right while maintaining substance and melody. The duo feels that songs can not only be technical and complex at points, but should also get that "body" thing happening (musical term). Elias Granillo at Sea of Tranquility was inspired to write, "Wotta rush! The all-instrumental, self-titled debut by this Medford, New Jersey-based duo just may fill the void left by Liquid Tension Experiment," while Bob Mulvey at the Dutch Progressive Rock Page commented, "This is a splendid album, full of energy and spontinaity, strong riffs accompanied by skilful soloing. Along with this, Lehner and Christie have not forgotten to include content, quite common with clever and gifted musicians". Read more on Last.fm.
