brodiaea

brodiaea (formerly ブローディア) was a Japanese visual kei band that was formed in 2006 by vocalist 戀 (Ren). They were signed immediately to Jupiter Record, and released several CDs while with the label. They seceded from the label in late 2007, released one CD independently while going through several member changes, and then finally signed with UNDER CODE PRODUCTION (written: UNDER CODE PRODUCTION) in mid-2008. brodiaea released several CDs and sponsored a few events throughout 2008 and early 2009. In April of 2009, drummer 空 (Sora) was dismissed from the band after failing to show up for a concert and severing ties with the band and the label. Although the members said they would continue on without him, they announced that the band would be pausing activities as of August 2nd. Despite previously promising that brodiaea would return from the activity pause, 凛 (Rin) announced in his blog on November 30th, 2009, that, as of that day, brodiaea was officially disbanded.
