Demoz is an underground rapper from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who is also a member of hip hop supergroup Army of the Pharaohs Demoz parents met in 1978 and was born in 1984 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Demoz grew up on the streets where he used to sell drugs to make an extra income. He used to see addicts doing drugs and thought that it was hopeless and evil. Demoz started to rap at an early age of 14, but it was in 2002 (at the age of 18) he started to take his career seriously having released several mixtapes in the street. In 2006, Demoz was approached by Jedi Mind Tricks frontman Vinnie Paz and it was then he became member of Army of the Pharaohs.[2] Despite not being on their debut album, The Torture Papers, Demoz was on the groups second album Ritual of Battle which was officially released on September 21, 2007 via Babygrande Records. The album also features group members Vinnie Paz, Jus Allah, Outerspace, Chief Kamachi, Reef the Lost Cauze, Esoteric, Celph Titled, King Syze, Des Devious, Doap Nixon, and King Magnetic. Although he was prominently featured on the group's debut album The Torture Papers, Apathy does not appear on Ritual of Battle. A music video for the single Bloody Tears was released in 2007 and Demoz made an appearance. Being featured as a member of Army of the Pharaohs led to many gateways for Demoz, he went on to feature on Jedi Mind Tricks sixth studio album; A History of Violence on the song Deadly Melody alongside Block McCloud, who at the time wasn't a part of Army of the Pharaohs. Demoz collaborated with Army of the Pharaohs affiliate and longtime friend Doap Nixon for his debut solo album Sour Diesel. Demoz was featured on the tracks Gangsta which also featured Planetary and Reef the Lost Cauze and the track Get Dirty which was also featuring Reef the Lost Cauze Early 2009, Demoz announced he was working on a new mixtape that contained never before heard tracks titled; The Pyscho's Back. It was officially released in August 2009. The album was hosted by Vinnie Paz. The first single off the mixtape was released on July 15, 2008 titled Mad Izm. The mixtape featured guest appearances from Vinnie Paz, Jus Allah, Des Devious and contained production by Ill Bill, Sicknature, Shuko, Skammadix amongst others. On March 19, 2010, Army of the Pharaohs released their third studio album The Unholy Terror. The album debuted in the Billboard 200 at number 179 selling 3,200 units in its first week of release. Demoz made an appearance on the tracks Ripped to Shreds, Prisoner, Suplex, Drenched in Blood, 44 Magnum, Cookin' Keys and Hollow Points. In 2009, Demoz was seen collaborating with former Jedi Mind Tricks producer Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind for his debut album Decalogue on the third track of the album Evil Deeds, Army of the Pharaohs members Des Devious and Jus Allah were also featured on the song. In 2010, Demoz was seen collaborating with Vinnie Paz on his debut studio album Season of the Assassin on the track Brick Wall along with Ill Bill.[15] A production remix of this track was later featured on the EP Prayer for the Assassin by Vinnie Paz.[16] In 2011, Demoz was featured on Jedi Mind Tricks album Violence Begets Violence on the songs Carnival of Souls and When Crows Descend Upon You.[17] Long time friend Doap Nixon hollered Demoz to work with him on his third studio album Doap Traffiking: The Rise and Fall of Darth Nixon. He was featured on the tracks Wherever I Go alongside Zilla & Helen Sciandra and the single One More Chance.[18] A music video for One More Chance was released on June 22, 2011. Demoz made an appearance in the music video. On November 30, 2013, Vinnie Paz revealed that two new Army Of The Pharaohs albums would be released in 2014. In Death Reborn was released on 22 April and the second LP is expected to drop in November. Demoz made a comeback with the group and was featured on the track "7th Ghost".
